Today's our 62nd Republic Day. Not to sound TOO apathetic or anything, but while the capital is celebrating, trillions of dollars worth black money from my country lies abroad, citizens of my country find it acceptable to set law enforcers on fire AND TAKE PICTURES OF THE ACT and not reach out and help, or something - I don't know, what DO you do when you see someone being burnt alive? Whip out your camera, of course - while the wrongdoers go SCOTT FREE and continue to assault the fathers of their victims. Our inability to function as a republic makes me feel trapped in a horrible way and the fact that I can feel strongly about it but don't feel enough to want to make a difference makes me feel ashamed of myself. I feel sick. only means that some day I will make a difference. Somehow. I don't know how, I don't know when, but I'm not leaving without doing something. You have my word.
